Shane’s Rib Shack to open 25 new Alabama stores

Shane’s Rib Shack has signed new franchise agreements that will result in 25 new stores in Alabama.
The Atlanta-based fast casual barbecue company plans to open 12 new units in 2011, including stores in Birmingham, Mobile, Athens, Ga., Pooler, Ga., Panama City, Fla., and Ocala, Fla.
The Alabama stores will be the first locations in the state for Shane’s Rib Shack.
The company, which was purchased by Petrus Brands in January 2009, currently has 64 locations in 13 states.
