Founder, Shane Thompson, asked to throw first pitch in softball game!

Shane donated food to the Henry County Special Olympics for approximately 400 people and they named the tournament after him!  It is now called the “Shane’s Invitational Softball Tournament- Henry County Special Olympics.”  They presented him with a plaque of appreciation and asked him to throw the 1^st pitch of the game!

Atlanta Shane’s sponsors event to raise money for The Shephard Center Spinal Clinic

On September 3^rd, the Cumberland restaurant sponsored a tailgate for the 1^st UGA football game to raise money for the Shepard Center Spinal Clinic.  Doctors from all over the states send their patients to this center for rehabilitation treatment.  The event raised over $20,000 total for the Spinal Clinic!

Customer Appreciation Day at Shane’s Rib Shack!

On September 20^th, our Clifton Park, NY, restaurant held a customer appreciation day!  The first 200 guests received a free ½ Chicken Plate served from their giant outdoor grill!  Many prizes were given out including t-shirts, which are always a favorite, and had a huge turnout. 

Shane’s in Dunwoody sponsors The Metropolitan Atlanta Project (MAP)

Shane's Rib Shack in Dunwoody recently sponsored The Metropolitan Atlanta Project (MAP) by donating food for 300 people.  MAP is an organization run by Northside United Methodist Church whose sole mission is to bring teens together from all over to give back to their communities by building playgrounds for underprivileged daycare centers.

Owners, Chad and Kellie Johnson, sponsored Augusta State University’s “Junior Achievement of GA” event program where they fed lunch to students with diabetes along with their leaders!
