Shane’s Rib Shack has established a set of minimum standards and site selection guidelines. We have experienced commercial real estate brokers who can assist you in the site selection process. Location is everything for your franchise. Real estate is a huge part of our success at Shane’s Rib Shack. Please remember that a Shane’s representative must visit and evaluate any site selected to ensure that it meets franchise standards.


 
 

Shane’s has created an interior design plan that can be tailored to fit your approved location. Your plan includes prototype drawing that include layout, equipment schedule, finish schedule and rough-ins. Everything you need, including furniture, fixtures and equipment is packaged and shipped to your location as part of the build-out process.

We act a as a clearinghouse to ensure brand consistency and work hand-in-hand with your local architect. We’ll even assist you in selecting a General Contractor. Shane’s has everything it takes to get your business up and running smoothly.

Shane’s continues to build lending relationships to help cut down the time involved with getting your loan processed. The Common Lending Terms and Conditions:
- Equity requirements range from 10%30% of project cost; $100k$150k liquid capital
- Good personal credit score (650+)
- Personal guarantee usually required.
- SBA looks for up to 100% collateral (ex. home equity, marketable securities, land)
- Loan terms are generally up to 10 years.
- Banks look for management and/or restaurant experience.
- Secondary source of income important.
- Closing costs range 2-4 % of loan amount

National Procurement Resources completes random audits of order guides to verify and keep our suppliers honest.

You will receive at least 7 days of on-site training at the Shane’s University at our flagship location in Georgia, plus an additional three weeks learning the ins and out of running your store.

In our Shane’s University, and in-concept training program, you’ll learn everything from register operation to making the perfect food, hiring staff and accounting procedures. This training includes business operations and hands-on experience in operating a Shane’s Rib Shack.

We help you hone your management skills, setup your back office and develop airtight sales and marketing plans.

At the conclusion of the program you’ll earn a degree upon completion of both classroom and on-site training.


 
 

When you get ready to open your Shane’s Rib Shack, an opening team from the Shack Crew will come to your store approximately 3 - 5 days prior to opening.

The Shack Crew will help ensure that all furniture and fixtures are in their appropriate place and your equipment is working properly. The Shack Crew comes ready to host an opening training course for your initial staff and teach the day-to-day operational policies and procedures. They prepare you and your staff for the VIP party and support your opening day, but more than that, their mission is to teach you how each and every Shane’s Rib Shack should operate every day.

All of our Franchise Support professionals have been trained to support our franchisees every day, and can help you through the finer points of operating your business. Our team is there to make your business functions at the highest level.

Shane’s Rib Shack is also very aggressive when it comes to Social Media. Our Facebook page currently has over 5,000 fans and we’ve placed advertising on both Twitter and Facebook for new store openings.
