This year marks a major milestone for Shane’s Rib Shack: 24 incredible years of serving up delicious slow-smoked BBQ, one plate at a time.
Back in 2002, founder Shane Thompson left behind his corporate career, tossed the tie, and chased a dream rooted in family, faith, and flavor. With his wife Stacey by his side, Shane dusted off his grandfather “Big Dad’s” secret BBQ recipe and opened the very first Shack with a simple mission: serve authentic BBQ and treat every guest like family.
Twenty-four years later, that same mission still stands strong! ❤️
From our signature slow-smoked ribs to our legendary Big Dad Sandwich, every recipe tells a story. Of hard work. Of tables filled with laughter. Of Friday night football dinners. Of blue collar workers, teachers, families, and many more loyal customers who each have made Shane’s part of their traditions.
